About Ziyad

Hair has never been just a career for me. It’s been my passion for as long as I can remember. I genuinely love creating beautiful hair and helping people leave the salon feeling confident, refreshed and completely themselves. Every client who sits in my chair receives my full attention because I believe great hair has the power to transform not only how you look but also how you feel.

Over the years, my work has taken me behind the scenes at fashion weeks in Melbourne, London and Milan, and has also been featured in leading hair publications throughout Australia and the UK. These experiences have refined my craft, but it’s the trust my clients place in me and the opportunity to create hair they truly love that continue to inspire me every day.

Outside of hair, I’m equally passionate about plants. I have a green thumb, and my love for greenery has become part of the salon itself. Filled with thriving plants and natural light, Ziyad Salon was designed to feel calm, welcoming and restorative—a space where you can slow down, relax and enjoy taking time for yourself.

Known for my versatile skill set and considered approach, I specialise in curly hair, short scissor cuts, precision cutting, complete transformations, natural colour work, and worn-in-looking colours. I have a particular love for creating rich brunettes and beautifully blended honey, caramel and blonde tones that feel soft, effortless and naturally elevated.

Every appointment is a personalised one-on-one experience. With my complete focus on you, every consultation is tailored to your lifestyle, goals, and individuality. Every visit is about more than beautiful hair—it’s about feeling comfortable, understood and confident in your transformation.

My Guarantee

At Ziyad Salon, every service begins with a thorough consultation to ensure your desired result is clearly understood. If your result does not reflect what was discussed and agreed upon during your consultation, I will happily make the necessary adjustments at no extra charge. If you decide to change the result after the service is completed, I can rework your hair at our usual service pricing. *Conditions apply.

Salon Policy

To ensure that every client receives the time and attention they deserve, I kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. A grace period of up to 15 minutes is allowed; however, arriving later may affect the services you can receive.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% fee of the booked service price. Additionally, all new colour clients must email the salon to schedule a consultation before booking an appointment. Thank you for your understanding!

Reminder Service

I offer an SMS and email reminder service between 3 days and a week before your appointment. Please reply with a “Y” to confirm or “N” to cancel. If “no” is selected, I will contact you to arrange an alternative appointment.
